Explain why you think either is better than the other. I think action movies are better because you don't expect to go into the theaters and come out laughing at every comedy movie. I'd say like 2/5 comedy movies I ever see are actually funny, like Rush Hour 3. Also, what one person thinks is funny, others might dislike. Action movies are better cuz (I'm a cod noob ) I mean because you won't need to think one is funny or it's not, it's just if the movie is really good, most people would probably like it.

What do you guys say?

Oh, its a tie , But depending on what kind of mood I am to decide whether to watch an action or a comedy. Mostly watch horror tho. =D

I'd rather comedy movies. I'd rather have a good laugh rather then watch an action movie.

I have an odd sense of humor. Everyone that I know IRL (in my age group) seems to have a different sort of humor from me. I really just like classic slapstick, or witty dialogue, with subtle jokes.

I don't like the comedy of today, which is usually mindless insults calling one of the characters gay or fat, toilet humor, or sex jokes. I don't care for any of these. I just want good clean comedy. Is that too much to ask?

i prefer comedy movies as they r funny but action movies r supposed to be exciting but all of them r boring as hell (well atleast in my eyes)
