idn it said "Looking for my half-sister whom I have never met. Her name was Margaret and her surname may have been either Applin or Brockfield. She was 3 years old when my half brother Gordon Brockfield was born in 1922. Mother was Joan Applin also known as Sybil Maude born in England. Married in England to Milton Brockfield an Australian returned serviceman from World War I. The photo opposite was taken in Sydney and shows Margaret in 1935 aged around 16 years, she may have been a nurse. Does anyone recognise her or know of her?"

Sounds alot like him lol

It is pretty much Australia's Remembrance Day. It mainly honors the Australians and New Zealanders that fought in Gallipoli. Also, all of that was in perfect English. (SORRY I thought you said 'In English', my bad :S)

In case your wondering:

Australian
and
New
Zealand
Army
Corps

yea dude this is sad no lie......however these lives would not be lost if the australians and new zealanders had not invaded Turkey. The Dardanelles belonged to the Turks and we(I am Turkish) were not gonna allow for these invading forces to take it from us. Just wanted to clear up some history, besides that i pray for all lives lost.

At your quote to nitro, your right. Since then, i'm pretty sure the Anzac's and the Turks have made up. I think they honor the turks in the parade here.

Just because we were the allies, doesn't mean the enemies shouldn't be honored, they died and served their country as well.
