But i really disagree when some of the higher ranked members as to speak feel that they are somewhat higher in achievement have the right to flame threads of the lower ranks like they where never in that situation

me for example i achieved my -rep earlier via a conversation in the shoutbox where i was just expressing an opinion is this right?

Your point about Neg rep on NGU is completely Valid.
The High rep guys should not be able to destroy a lower ranked member because of a comment they did not like.
I think Neg rep needs to be lowered to 10% of one's Total rep power.

And in most cases, if you were unfairly treated by another member, report it to an admin , with the links and evidence, and they will remove the neg rep from your wall.

As you can see, many members are willing to add rep back to you for this kind of thing. But it is better to keep it private and ask for an admins help... ( they are there to make sure that everyone on the site is treated fairly :y:

Thanks for your input it wasn't something i wanted to take any action against and wasn't truly based on my account just really everyone that experiences or has this same view!!

And i have unexpectedly recieved rep which shows what i believed that a majority of the members here are very helpful which was also the point i was trying to make.

I was unaware that reporting this to for admin to help was something to consider so at least this is highlighted to other unaware members
