You have a very nice advantage. I live in the country and have to skate in my garage. I have friends in a little town about 10 minutes away where we all skate and have fun, but nothing close to a skatepark.

I used to skate a lot until I got in a fight with a mexican after we played S-K-A-T-E. I won, he started running away with his skateboard, I tackled him and he threw a punch at me so I kneed him in the diaphram and puched his face for a while and I thought he was KO so I opened my backpack to get something to wipe my bloody nose. He woke up and threw my skateboard on the highway, and my skateboard was run over by a car. I was so pissed I did the same with his board, but now I realize that I should of just took his. I am board-less : (

I quit skating because one day, I was skating at the skate park down in Westerville, and then out of nowhere, a dinosaur popped out of the ground and wanted to out-skate me, so I was like "No, you bitch ass mother ****er. I'll rape you and your kids." and he was like "Yo es muy bueno." and so I skateboarded and beat his ass at it, and then he started to run, and I ran after him being as how I can tackle a full-blown tyrannosaurus rex down, and beat his ass to a bloody pulp but he ended up stepping on my skateboard and getting it dirty, because well, my Zero deck was my pride and joy, and so I killed him, got arrested, leaped out of jail using my invisible mind powers, and eventually wound up on here.
