Everyone knows mcdonalds, and there a multi billion company for fast food.
But what they do to their animals before it comes to you is so horrible. I was going through facebook and went on McDonalds facebook page and a guy was talking about it.
So i thought i would let you guys know.

What you can do. This is what you can do, Its on the site. I didn't write this and im not saying you have to or do so.

Hundreds of millions of chickens are killed for McDonald's restaurants every year. Many of these gentle birds have their throats cut while they're still conscious and able to feel pain, and many are scalded to death in tanks of hot water. You can help stop the cruelty now.
The following are just a few of the many ways that you can fight McCruelty today:

Write to McDonald's. Demand that McDonald's require its chicken suppliers to adopt a less cruel slaughter method by writing to the company now.

Organize a demonstration. Spread the word about McDonald's cruelty by organizing a demonstration for the area in front of your local restaurant.

PETA's Timeline

1997: Following the McLibel verdict, PETA writes to McDonald's asking the company to take steps to alleviate the suffering of animals killed for its restaurants.

October 1999: PETA launches its McCruelty campaign after two years of failed negotiations with McDonald's.

September 2000: Following 11 months of campaigning and more than 400 demonstrations against McDonald's, PETA announces a moratorium on its campaign after the company agrees to make some positive changes for farmed animals. This marks the first time in U.S. history that a major seller of meat agrees to make farmed-animal welfare improvements.

September 2000 to February 2009: PETA tries to work with McDonald's to modernize the company's animal welfare standards and make further improvements, especially regarding how its chickens are slaughtered in the U.S., but McDonald's refuses.
February 2009: PETA lifts its moratorium against McDonald's after the company fails to require its U.S. and Canadian chicken suppliers to adopt a less cruel slaughter method.

Undercover investigators have seen workers roughly force birds' legs into shackles, often causing more broken bones. This bird's leg is so badly broken that the bone is sticking out.

Killing blades in slaughterhouses often miss the birds' necks and cut them on other parts of their bodies, causing painful injuries. In one slaughterhouse, we found this bird, whose right leg had been cut by a killing blade.

After their throats are cut, chickens are dragged through tanks of scalding-hot water to remove their feathers. Millions of birds are still alive when this happens and end up being scalded to death. The industry calls them 'red birds.'

that interview thing was pretty lame but We got admit it we need this kind of cruelty so that we humans can survive... only on cows and chickens though as thats the meat we mostly eat

And pigs get it bad also

but but i love me some bacon, but yea even though it's horrible to what they do to those animals it's just necessary for us to survive survival of the fittest as explained by charles darwin

Haha this thread made me laugh. I, of course, am against animal cruelty, but this thread has too many flaws. And why target McDonalds? 99% of the food we eat that come from animals come from animals treated like this.

True but McDonalds is a major food distributor and the other kinds of brands are all scattered around so its easier to target mcdonalds.
