I'd like some dramatic scene where I save a girls life from some gun men and I get her to safety, then I go back and hold my gold cross in my hand and walk up to them and they shoot me I fall down dead with my arms out like the cross and my hand open with the cross there. Complicated abit I know, but it sounds appealing to me.

everything sounded pretty good until you went back to the bad guys with the cross(i take it you're christian)and get shot?..i mean,why would you save a chick,and then return to the chaos to be killed?..it just doesn't make sense m8,you got me there.doing so is no different to commiting suicide!
sh*t like that don't happen in the movies or real life.that's just crazy man!
IMO,your ending should be something like....
You save the chick,run off into the sunset, living happily ever after(with the chick you saved) and dying old and gracefully with your "gold cross".
But hey,that's just me,i'm an optimist and i like to go out with a bang and a happy ending hehe.
