For example: Dopey has 3 Gold Stars with 57,550 in rep and 1,034 days since he joined.
That puts him at 55.6 in Rep per day and 6.2 in Rep per post.
I mean , lets face it, Dopey is a light weight on how to get Rep these days.

This list has 8 people who would have more Rep than him with the same amount of time and 3 of them would have at least 6 Gold Stars at this point.
1 would have nearly 9 Gold Stars now(Females )
And Rep per post is kicking that Dwarves ass too, with 11 out of 22 beating him there.

The list includes their join date, Rep count, Rep per day, Rep per post, # of Threads, and a Thanks to Posts.

And to save anyone that cares the trouble: Mine is 11,625 in Rep with 10.6 in rep per day and 5.6 in Rep per post. :p
Also the List is with members that have a minium of 50 posts. If they don't have that they aren't really members

This thread proves a HUGE point : How rep isn't EARNED these days. You said that at the rate these people are going, they would have smashed Dopey's rep and so on... but I'm sure Dopey earned his rep through effort and being a long time, respected and contributing member. Whereas most of these new kids just want rep, ask for it, or just get lucky when people in the SB say, link me for +whatever and shit. Rep is a joke now, it's more of a game, but hey, it still keeps members motivated to post.

It is unfair to judge this list as a group or compare them as a whole to other members.
There is no denying the changes in how Rep is viewed or aquired over the last 10 to 12 months and there is no universal measure to determine if it was Earned or not.
Rep to post is a somewhat fair one, but it does not account for a very successful thread, such as the one Biz did recently.
Some people do better than others and most on this list are very active on the site. That is really what the site needs, activity and the things that motivate it.

I did not intend to single anyone out for some kind of rep abuse ( and there are many that joined before this year who could make that list).
I was just playing with some of the new search features and was surprised to some of the figures.
Espcially the amount gained in posts and not threads by the general membership.

Anyway, I'm not knocking these guys at all. They working it like the rest of us..

Further proving how rep isn't necessarily earned, but rather given.

It's easier to get rep these days, a lot of people have high rep power. That's why people can have so much rep with so little posts. Back in the day nobody had very high rep powers.
