It use to show who was popular, shared good info and was trustworthy. Everybody use to give people +rep when they deserved it and -rep when they deserved it. But now in a little as a few years people are abusing there REP powers by randomly -rep for no real reason. Now you got people going for a -rep star. Those people could be super trustworthy people but since they have a -rep star you asume they arent. Now the people with a whole bunch of REP think they are top dog ( Not all people with REP are like this ). Some did not earn there REP but got lucky by someone with high REP REPPING them ( Im not saying this is a bad thing getting lucky ).

But lets try to get the REP back how it was when this site first came to be. Were you actually earn your REP and dont just get randomly -rep by someone having a bad day.

Stop complaining about rep, yes there's people who fuggin abuse it but they are dealt with a reasonable punishment. There's always gonna be people who are like this yeah we get it. But there's nothing you nor anyone can do by making threads like this. I understand what you meant but I guess it's not gonna happen.

I hate how you refer to -rep as REP-.

But what's with these threads?
It seems every month someone makes a thread on how rep has gone to hell.
It's doing no good other than stating the obvious that we all know.
