Meh, films from games don't tend to be that good. Hitman was ok, but it wasn't like the game. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as it could have been. In my opinion, if they are going to make films from games, they need the best people in cast and crew. That usually tends to mean that if it's got top actors, the script will be good as to not "damage" their image. Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon could be amazing films providing they had the right cast and crew. Ridley Scott would be an ace director after Black Hawk Down. That is by far the best war film I have seen that I can think of. He also directed Body of Lies which was a good CIA film, kinda like what Splinter Cell is, only he's NSA. Oh, and Tom hanks as a producer after Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brother and Pacific. They were ace films/shows.
