(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok there have been a few threads about animal cruelty and I've been hearing about this subject a lot recently. I even watched a movie today called Food Inc.. This movie shocked me completely. The point of this thread is to stir up a discussion to show me what you anti-animal cruelty people would say is an acceptable way to kill animals. If there are so many people against animal cruelty, how could you eat any kind of animal knowing what they have to go through. I have included a few video clips of chickens that you guys would enjoy.

This is how most of the chicken we eat grow up.

This is the way lucky chickens live their entire life.

This is the "humane" way chickens are being killed. (@2:15)

Seriously, you people against animal cruelty, do you not think this is cruel? What is the humane way to kill these animals?

im a massive animal lover and i seen alot of things about this subject, what im about to say i personally think is probably the differnce between animal cruelity and the humane way? (idk if thats the right word but you guys get me) and you have my deepest apologies if i offend you in anyway but personally im saying this for the animals in question.

i personally think the fine line between animal cruelity and the humane way is well in my eyes simple... i tihnk its cruel to see animals in pain or disstress for pleasure (e,g putting 2 dogs in a "ring" and have them fight till 1 cant walk and in most cases, die and even if the dog doesnt die to the other dog the dog fighters kill the dog) i personally find that sick to my stomach how you can look into the eyes of a lovely animal basically crying out to help it but hes too weak to even bark because hes in so much pain, that in my eyes in cruel.

if an animal is bread to be food like the pig farms you get or the cow farms chichen farms etc, as long as the animal isnt put through any pain or stress i dont belive this to be animal cruelity as long as its quick and the animal isnt scared it isnt cruel as the animal wouldnt know any differnt, as sad as that sounds but how would you rather be killed.. looking into your killers eyes and basically asking not to die? or just be minding your own business and dead without any hint or any fear.

i know how id rather go, and i think as animals have a brain, i think i know how they would rather go.

if you feel the same way i believe you to be a good person not an animal abuser.

That post was obviously just meant for rep Not Happy or Sad
Usually when people reply to my threads asking if I did it for the rep, I humor them.

Seriously, I tried eating a few hours after the movie and I threw up. I watched it about 12 hours ago. I can not eat anything that contains any kind of meat without thinking about this movie. That is one of the reasons I posted this. I can't think of any right way an animal has to die and well I can't eat without throwing up. What really sucks is that I don't eat vegetables. It's quite annoying.
