-To Look Cool?
-To Be Like Others?
-To Scare The **** Out Of Other People?
-To Make Money.
This has got me thinking. People predict the end alot. Yet, they are always incorrect. There are to main predictions that have been predicted. They have been Debunked and Dismissed.
1. December 21,2012. This day has generated so many things. It had a movie created. This fueled people to become even More Worried. There is a site that debunks the 2012 hoax. It explains many thing about that.It talks about why that date is not the end.
2. May 21,2011. Harold Camping said that according to his calculations the coming of Jesus will be on this day. He says it states it in the bible. Christians leader have dismissed this prediction?
My question is Why do people predict the end?
Many people have died because of these predictions. Many things have fueled these predictions. Please write what you think. State why you think people are just crazy. also please answer my question

Hmm insanity, mental disturbance, power, control, fear, implicate disaster, those are the first thoughts that come to mind.

Its like NGU. People make threads typically for rep.

In the real world people make up lies for money.



Having power and coming up with an idea brings investors. Investors just want to profit from ideas so they gamble some money. The creator now has lots of money from investors and continues to say something will happen. Sometimes people will create these lies to sell their products more.

I agree. Most of the time it is just for publicity.

People believe it, and it gives the people who propose the date of the end of the world a false sense of credibility. It's a control thing, no doubt about it. Knowing that people are following you, that you'll most likely get money (ex. churches, organizations, etc.).

What surprises me the most is that people actually believe them. Some people, can't handle having thoughts about death. They shouldn't worry. The world won't it. All that will happen is that many people will be deceived by others. 2012 will come and go by. Prediction's are created by people who are
1)Trying to get famous
2)Earn money by tricking people into buying there guides on how to survive those dates.

These nutjobs are simply seeking publicity. The fate of humanity cannot be predicted accurately. These guys prey on the gullible.

Because they want people to pay attention to them and respect them. They usually succeed in the first part.

I think they do it becuz they want to make money with it nd to get some attention
