The Ring of Fire Theory:
This theory states that the whole ring of land surrounding the pacific is going to experience major earthquakes!

If I'm not mistaken, the Ring of Fire isn't a theory but a general region of where earthquakes/volcanoes are most likely to erupt due to the colliding plate tectonics there.

Theory: a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena: Einstein's theory of relativity.

therefore this "group of general propositions" could be called a theory since they making a huge inference based on information from history.

But the theory of relativity is for the most part true.

The Ring of Fire is just a region where earthquakes are more frequent, so yes - It is true...

Supporting that would be colliding plate tectonics.

How is that not true?

If plate tectonics are colliding, obviously earthquakes are more frequent. Then yes, the Ring of Fire is entirely true because it's more bound to happen there than anywhere else.
