The owl and the pussycat become friends, YouTube thrilled

The famous Edward Lear poem about The Owl and the Pussycat instantly springs to mind with the discovery of an unlikely but charming relationship formed by a real life owl and pussycat.

Proving that life can be stranger than fiction, Fum the cat has been captured on film goofing around with Gebra the barn owl.

The pair have subsequently become a hit on YouTube with almost 500,000 tuning in to see the cute twosome.



The YouTube video shows Gebra the owl teasing Fum the cat by swooping low with Fum responding by jumping up to try and catch Gebra. At other moments the pair are seen rubbing up against each other affectionately.

It is evident that the playful duo enjoy each other’s company. The animals are believed to have been friends since they were young.

It is unclear where the video was taken but it appears to be somewhere in the Spanish countryside.
