Absolutely not. The original actors' performances can't be paralleled. Any remake would just result in mass disappointment.

If anything should happen is a remake of 1, 2, and 3, they do not fit the plot of the originals.

I mean, on paper it may seem like an okay idea you know to update the effects and stuff but it would ultimately end in disappointment for one main reason: Nobody can match the acting glory of the originals.

It is very true. They should make more movies, but not of the originals.

They've made many many comic books, and even entire books of side stories. I'm sure they could think of something.

No it would be weird. BTW while speaking of star wars... does anyone know where I can get the blu-ray versions of every movie?

In my opinion, dont touch them.. they went perfectly fine with I, II, and III. The SFX werent as great, doesnt matter.. Still were great movies with a fantastic storyline to them.

Truthfully I dont think it could be replaced. Its one of those "Untouchable" movies in my book.
