I wanted to know if you think this is good or not. In my opinion, it all starts going downhill for the Lakers from here on out. Might be the end of an era of basketball that was dominated by Los Angeles. With an aging Kobe, and no more Phil, I just can't see the Lakers playing like they used to anymore. Hopefully they won't pull a Knicks and just be bad for years to come till they pick up another star. Phil Jackson and Kobe are gonna be VERY tough shoes to fill.

I was hoping Brian Shaw would get the spot. He's been Phil's sideman for a while and I think he'd do a good job running the team.
