(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I want someone who actually knows what they're talking about here to help me out. For about two weeks my ping has been roughly 160 from Indiana to St. Louis, which is terrible. Normally it's about 40. I can't play any online games as well as I would like to because if I get a Cali host I have a ping of 200+ easily. Sometimes though my ping will go back down to normal, but usually it rises back up pretty quickly. I have two routers and have tried them both and my ping is still crappy. ISP is TDS. I've quick scanned using Malwarebytes. Might do a full today.

Any ideas?

still the same OG, but I've been low key
Is it an older house? Could be due to ancient wiring. That was the case with my latest internet problems.

That's what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure the protective covering might be coming off. Do you know which wire has to deal with ping or anything?

Most likely the coax cable coming in. For me, I have the one coax cable which I branch into my phone, internet and tv services.
