There's a school called Northwest ISD and they're trying to motivate students to stay in school and get good grades by giving away a GODAMN CAMARO.

I'll repeat that one more time a brand new 2011 Chevy CAMARO.

The lucky little guy was Kenzie Deaton, he literally cried tears of joy when he heard what he just won. He responded with "I thought I was stuck with my mom's car."

The principle said "Secondary students are notorious, sometimes, for becoming lax (bad) in their grades and attendance. This is a motivation tool for them to work on their grades,"

I feel this is a huge motivational tool maybe an expensive one but its a Camaro!

What happens is they pull out 25 tickets which have names, students earn tickets throughout the year based on their performance in school and attendance, higher grades and attendance the closer you are to getting a damn car and they do this EVERY year.

The other 24 runner ups each received a Dell Streak 7 Touch Screen Tablet.

Oh and Kenzie is only a freshman and 14 years old, he has to wait so he can be able to drive his new car. His response to this "I will probably let my parents drive it until they're ready, and then I'll take it back," and just take it back lol

What do you guys think of schools giving out big cash prizes?

looks painful lol I wish my school gave away cars it doesnt have to be fancy just drivable

my school did a mustang give away but it was the 3 high schhols in my area all together in a reverse raffle were they pull everyones name wile your sitting in a big gym (the ones who qualify) and the last name left wins they only did it 1 year though Ford donated it in this case id guess Chevy prob donated it or gave a monster discount
