Well turkey has been doing this for years say anonymous, But they have not spoke out about it, So why now...

Is anonymous members hiding there, Maybe they want the freedom of the internet to continue there internet rampages.

I think Anonymous are doing this now due to recent success in Egypt and Libya.. I myself was in Turkey and I must say there is enormous censorship in Turkey.. Youtube, ThePirateBay, MegaUpload and Mediafire bring up a message in Turkish, I translated it and it says something along the lines of
"This website has been blocked by the Turkish Government due to blah blah blah"
