question

Trees photosynthesis at the same rate when it is sunny and when it is cloudy. Why doesn't the rate increase with more sunlight?

may seem simple but I'm stuck, HELP!

Its Because if The Sunlight Grew So Would The Clouds. So Its Always On The Same Level.

Because the process of photosynthesis cannot benefit from anymore sunlight, it is already at its optimum amount.

Yeah, I agree with king Jamie... Other limiting factors, I did not know that "advanced photosynthesis" existed. :lol:

You must login or register to view this content. this site will help you, but its down to other factors such as the amount of nutrients, temperature, CO2, Water. So the intensity of sunlight really isn't the most major of factors, especially for trees :P
