That's because you actually need to see it in real time, because your two eyes perceive two different images, thus making it 3D.

I love my 3d tv... I don't see why so many people complain about it... It has the potential to make images really pop in video and in video games also. Ill admit most of what you see now isn't that good but some of the current 3d movies are amazing... I don't know what everyone's problem is had mine almost a year now and still don't regret it in the least.
