In terms of bang for your buck, you really can't go past the Nissan GT-R.
Add bigger turbos, cold air induction, free flow exhausts, revised cpu and the GT-R is in ultra exotic league, and even then,is only a fraction of the price of its rivals.
It pretty much annihilates anything and everything on the road bar a few exotic cars(that usually cost 2 times or more).
The GT-R can keep up and sometimes out run exotics is testament to the japanese ingenuity and engineering, considering the GT-R weighs a porky 1740kg or 3800lbs is no mean feat as most exotics weigh about 300kg(661lbs) less!
The only car that's similar in price and performance that I can think of is the Corvette ZR1,which can be a handful in the wet, whereas the GT-R will keep charging despite the wet conditions.
That said, the ZR1 is american performance muscle at its best, with excellent pricing.
I can buy the ZR1 and GT-R with enough money left to modify both.
Try doing that with a Ferrari or Lamborghini, and there's no comparison.
