This is a world where I can quite happily still live despite knowing these disturbing facts. I'm not giving to charity to help these people live it's not my problem I know I'm obliged to help them but I'm not going to really it's survival of the fittest If they can't survive in the baron places they live they should be dead and then the civilized nations should just repopulate these wastelands and build new cities there. I'd don't give a **** if one child in Africa dies ever 7 seconds from shitty water and I should not be made to feel like I'm responsible for it. It's not my fault I'm born in a 1st world country where the only things that I worry about are my internet going down or the bus being late.

I was once told that the way this world is currently is nothing more than Geography. The way the worlds continents broke apart is the reason eg. Africa is mostly poor communities. Becuase of the harsh environments they must live in now is simple, they could not flourish. With growing/exporting fruits and vegetables. Fishing, even terrain to build, say, a skyscraper.

Makes me feel like more people should be using birth control. For two reasons:

1. So there are less people that may starve.
2. So there are less people that make movies like Sex and the City.

The world is very unbalenced

One thing it points out is that you can make a poster to say anything and people will believe it.

The highest estimates on annual starvation deaths is around 20 million per year. Not 200 million.
90% of them come from 6 countries and half of those come from 3 India, Pakistan, Bangeldesh.
The pacific rim area accounts for 3/4 of all starvation deaths, but also accounts for 3/4 of the worlds population and 90% of its poverty.

Just be thankful that you were not born in India, More children die a day there than are born in many countries.

And as far as a movie grossing over 200 million, why not take a look at what professional athletes are paid annually.
The NY Yankees team salary alone is almost 200 million..
