Today I bought a turtlebeach px21 headset for my ps3, I connected it correctly like it showed me in the user guide, USB is connected, green cord is connected, my mic is on, everything is on. The problem is that my ps3 does not recognize my headset, I can hear clearly through the headset it's just the mic is not showing up. I went to accessory settings then went to audio device settings and I tried changing where it says "Do Not Use" but it doesn't show up.

Can anyone help solve my problem? 500k vbux and +rep

ok my trittons do this take the mic cord (pink on trittons) and plug into your computer and get it working or take the green cord out and back in a few times wile the ps3 is off should take care of it if not emaill [email protected] and they will gladly assist or replace you headset

note this also happens if you set the headset up wile the ps3 is on according to turtle beach
so take all cables apart and try with it off

The following user groaned Imtravvy for this awful post:

Make sure you have every cable hooked up right then go to your ps3. Also make sure the usb is plugged in. In settings go to ►Accessory settings►Audio Device settings and scroll up or down till you find Turtle beach and select it for both input and output. Then go to ►Sound settings►Audio Multi-Output and turn it to On.
Hope this solves your problem Winky Winky
