I live in California and I hate it, unless you're here for the mountains and partying it's terrible. In my opinion, there are too many people and all of the people suck, most of the people you'll meet are typical and fit into stereotypes. That's not all the people though, and most of them are nice. I guess I'm just nagging about people in my area, it's a little too hard to judge all of the people/places in a state. If I was to go somewhere to live, it would be out of the country to experience a new place all together. Apart from learning a new language, I think it would be nice to experience a different culture.
would love to go back and live in california, or new york/ new jersey . Maybe not for a few years. But live there for the summer and find work there for the summer.
I was born in new york and lived in new jersey and moved over to ireland when i was 6.. So i have my greencard and all that shizz since i'm an american citizen so i dont have to apply for all that crap

Which city do you live in? I've lived in Huntington Beach, Yorba Linda, and Palm Springs.
Palm Springs easily my least favorite. Huntington Beach and Yorba Linda are both good though.

I'm pretty close to that beach actually, about an hour drive or so. I'm more in the Mission Viejo area.
I didn't like growing up here, every place you go you're surrounded by hipsters. I think it's like that everywhere you go though, there's always going to be people you don't like and there's always going to be trends. They're mostly nice though, they just like most of the same stuff so it gets uninteresting meeting new people sometimes. I don't really like the whole suburb area either, it's either tons of old people living here or new families with really loud kids when the old people move out, never a mix of the two so it has its highs and lows. I would like to move around and live in different parts of California to get around more and shift my opinion of it. I do travel a lot, but that's different than actually living somewhere.
