Lets start with -rep: When I see this as a persons rep in a post I feel that they just copy and paste info or give out false info. When I see it in the auctions I think that they are a scammer.

Now lets do low rep: When I see this I look how many posts they have if they have a low number of posts I know they just started out. But if they have alot of rep I than think they just post useless stuff.

Medium rep: This I see is you post both good and bad things that give you +rep and -rep.

High rep: You eaither are really good and post really good info. Or you are a rep whore.

Please feel free to tell me what you guys think about what you think when you see rep and Ill add your input to what I think.

So you're basically saying: you are either a scammer, copy paster, or a rep whore? No matter what your rep is?

Well for some it was a measure of how hard they worked to contribute to the site, by doing good threads and relevant posts.
Some members put in a lot of time that way to earn their recognigition and did not spend it in the Shout Box PMing links to their friends.
You may have noticed that the number and quality of threads is down in mosts forums, especially in the GD.

Although one good result of the change is the removal of Neg rep, which I feel was the most unfair form of abuse on the site..

Rep is Rep, You gain rep for doing good things Bad rep for doing somthing somone doesn't like. If you whore for the rep you must be doing somthing right for them people to rep you?
