I hate how a the regents cancel out a good grade and make you go to summer school, but then if you fail a class but pass the regents you still have to go to summer school.

Hate to break it to you but yeah you have to go to summer school. The class itself means nothing, its all about the regents because that's what's giving you course credit. They wouldn't let you not go to summer school and study on your own because that obviously didn't go too well for you the first time you did it
