(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index in 2009, about 63.1% of Americans are now overweight or obese. This can be credited to people eating less healthy and exercising less. It sounds really basic, but it affects a VERY large amount of people and is a problem that needs to be dealt with. This affects me as well since almost everyone on my mom's side of the family has had at least one heart attack. I have to watch what I eat, and exercise regularily just to make sure my own genetics don't catch up with me. The thing is with being overweight, you can lose it! In this thread I will go over some basic concepts and terms so you will hopefully have a better understanding of how to be healthier.

Through living a more healthy lifestyle you will feel better about yourself, look better, live longer, and have more luck with the ladies. Not many people will be proffesional athletes, but that does not mean you can't be healthy or fit!

If only it was that easy m8,then we would not have this obesity epidemic spreading like wildfire. It's only when people's lives are in danger or at risk(due to health problems associated with obesity) that they will make a change.
Junk food is like a lazy easy way out for some.
When they're tired from a hard days work, don't feel like cooking and junk food is just a few minutes drive away.
This issue is also exacerbated by the new generation of people having little to no knowledge of how to cook a decent healthy meal.
It's a downward spiral from here on and even the governments efforts in promoting healthy eating and regular excercise has little effect.
I've been bodybuilding/weight training for more than 10 years now and have noticed a drop of people going to the gym.
That's not a good sign.No
The gaming world does obesity no favours as well.

I'm sure you understood what I was trying to get across though, you know...since you're the overwatcher of NGU, the one that assesses all posts and judges them and provides an opinion that nobody gives a shit about. Carry on though, backseat moderating Cool Man (aka Tustin) :y:

Why don't you stfu and make a useful post since you haven't done for a long time because of losing your staff title which has lead to depression, Stop crying and move on with your life and grow up and stop abusing/critising members. That pot of gold will never come to you so jump off a cliff.
