(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index in 2009, about 63.1% of Americans are now overweight or obese. This can be credited to people eating less healthy and exercising less. It sounds really basic, but it affects a VERY large amount of people and is a problem that needs to be dealt with. This affects me as well since almost everyone on my mom's side of the family has had at least one heart attack. I have to watch what I eat, and exercise regularily just to make sure my own genetics don't catch up with me. The thing is with being overweight, you can lose it! In this thread I will go over some basic concepts and terms so you will hopefully have a better understanding of how to be healthier.

I'm pretty healthy as it is, but here's some good information on how to trim fat through your diet. You must login or register to view this content.

I always used to think that caloric intake versus how much you output was the key to weight loss. But a well balanced meal helps promote weight loss along with keeping your muscles from being burned as well.

Nope, you can reply to a thread if it was posted less than 60 days ago. I didn't get a notification stating that I couldn't reply because of that...

Do a barrel roll!
I don't see how you let yourself get like that. I would think after a certain point you would be like "hey, i should go for a run and eat healthier". it's pretty gross actually.
