Most likely, from what I know, most loss of hearing caused by such accidents are more likely to be just cause temporary hearing loss, as a pose to permenant; however it's best to get that checked by your GP if you haven't got back your hearing within a couple of days. Winky Winky

Stansy
Who is Stansy?
Do you think that the pop the gun made caused it? Or the blast of air?
As long as the tiny little bones in your inner ear aren't misplaced/broken you should hopefully regain the ability to hear in a few days.

Me and a mate lit a half broken screamer(firework) last halloween and we thought we would have atleast 3 seconds to get away but it blew up instantly as soon as he lit it.
We were practically right beside the firewrok when it blew up and i couldnt hear in my right ear properly for a day but then i could hear again..
If you dont regain any bit of hearing from your ear in a day then you should visit you GP

My sister's half deaf for life. But she was born with it so hopefully it's only temporary for people such as yourself Smile

2 Months ago the same thing happened to me, but it was my friend who did it. I didn't fully regain hearing until like a week later. You'll be fine.
