(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking to purchase a gaming PC, For hopefully a reasonable price below £500.
I have little knowledge in Gaming PC's so I need some advice from you guys.
I want a Gaming PC that will run Battlefield 3, Call Of Duty Modernwarfare 3, Saints Row 3 and GTA IV all smoothly.
So please let me know if these PC's meet the system requirements to play these games and what are the system requirements to play these games, GFX, CPU and RAM... etc.
Anyone who has found any Gaming PC's on websites for reasonable prices please post the link.
I'm from the UK so only trusted UK sites Please, Thanks.

The problem with Alienware is that they charge ludicrous amounts of cash for the most entry-level of computers. I will give them the fact that their quality is arguably good, but it's just not worth the money when you could build your own and get a way better deal.

Aside from that, I never really liked Dell. .__.

I basically just built a just as good if not better PC for not even half the price of these two.

Intel Core i5 2500K > Intel i7 960
Only missing 2GB of RAM (which is barely a difference, and completely upgrade-able.)
HDD is barely even 1TB.
Graphics card (at least compared to the cheaper Area 51, I dunno about the AMD) is better.
I dunno, it just seems crazy.

EDIT: I've been looking at benchmarks, and the AMD card is a little bit better for higher resolutions. But it runs hotter, it's louder, and in some instances is more expensive. (Power consumption, selling price, etc.)

Directly from the review: "Overall the R6950 will be a tiny bit faster, but runs hotter and makes more noise."

So yeah, the CPU is a lot better, the RAM just needs to be upgraded by 2GB, and the graphics card is better than what they'd give you for more than double the price. The hard drive is larger in capacity, the OS is the same, and the case is definitely just as competent. And you would have paid 400 GBP more if you would have bought an Alienware for a less competent overall computer.
