Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000
Now add 10. What is the total?

Now i know what your thinking that was easy right.

so you got 5000 yh?

wrong answer is 4100 look for yourself

Haha yeah man I got 4100 immediately??? Maybe in some peoples heads they mistake the 100 for 1000 and add that to 4000 to get 5000??? Haha idk, but this wasn't too tricky.

i think some people got it confused when its 40+30+20+10, they probably think its 1000. This doesn't work with people who at least graduated high school (no offence everyone).
