This topic came to mind as I saw a program on TV, 2 female police officers(UK) pretending to be prostitutes then subsequently arresting the "customers". Surely this is extremely unfair? Opinions, please

Prostitution isn't in everyone's faces to that degree though. Sure, the prostitutes themselves are, but it's not like they're having sex on the streets or something. Prostitution itself doesn't hurt anyone or expose unwilling people to graphic images. It's their body, they can do what they want with it. Sex is shown to relieve stress and prevent prostate cancer. Doctors recommend masturbation or sex at least once a day. You won't always have a woman willing to sleep with you, and the Bible says masturbating is wrong, so hiring a prostitute is the most responsible and ethical choice. :y:



How is prostitution negatively influential toward anyone? (Not those involved, they know the risks and choose to participate anyway).

It is illegal because christians deem it so. So shes a whore, she sells her body to please you, or someone else, you will not deny your pleasure of the eyes or body, but deny hers? So very hypocritical.

Prostitution, what is the difference between that and porn? There really isn't anything different between that except a video camera is involved.

What I agree in is that prostitution should be legal as long as the prostitute gets checked weekly for any diseases, if she/he is clear of such then they may continue their business. If they however catch something and they continue on, then that will be illegal.

Nevada has it down, outside of the Las Vegas limits, they have buildings like so on the outskirts that have prostitutes (They are checked for diseases every couple weeks if I remember correctly). It is a business.

For the people who are caught, I think it should remain a crime if they are paying for sex with an unregistered prostitute.

I don't think it's wrong... well maybe just a little. I think it should be illegal, just so that people are safer and stuff. But I don't really think it's that bad.

I am for whatever can stop human trafficking and the sex slave industry. Forced prostitution is am major cause of this.
I have no problem with a person who willingly participates in prostitution.
If legalizing it can help reduce the number of people who are doing it against their will or help those that want to stop , but can not, then I am all for it.

Imagine being taken against your will, or applying for a job, and being forced to suck dick and take it up the ass for the next ten years...

Think of the children who are sold in the sex slave business, with no hope of escape...

Think of the sick people that support that industry...

Legalized prostitution is fine, if it is regulated and participants are free to quit when they want..
