The major action sequel filled with "Comedy and Robots" is what sold this weekend at the box office. The 12-day total for this film comes to $261 million. The first Transformers had a $212.3 million at the same point, while the second film, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen had earned a good $293.4 million.

Apparently, word-of-mouth really seems to be helping the sequel. We will still have to see how this film holds up against a wizard named Harry next week.
