Spoiler alert.
It was great UNTIL the moment when Neville walked forward towards Voldemort in the scene after Harry is 'killed'.
They completely ruined the whole story by adding an extra 5 scenes in there, completely nothing to do with the original plot.
Neville was supposed get the sorting hat put on his head, it bursts into flames, he then draws the sword out and swiftly cuts the snake's head off. Harry then goes under the invisibility cloak, later to reveal himself for the showdown. What a load of bull! That was probably my second favourite/most memorable moment in the entire series and they cut it out. What were they thinking?
Just because of that moment, I give it a 7/10. I dont understand why these people cannot just stick to the god damn plot. The person that wrote this 'script' (when the only script they needed was the book) should be hung.
(I sound like a Harry Potter fanatic getting upset over a film but I started reading the series when I was about 10 when they first came out and a series like this really gets to you if you can relate to it in the same way. I.e. all the characters have been the same age as me throughout the books. So stuff like this is really annoying.)
