Ok so im looking to start scootering. But I know nothing about prices, parts nothing. Like honestly it just came to mind and now I want to start, considering I dont have enough money for a nice bike, such as an eon, and considering noone skates anymore, why not scoot? I have a few friends that scooter I usually **** around on theirs and its pretty fun I just never put buying into consideration. So If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Would this be a good scooter to start with?

err, i quit a long time ago but still have a head full of it,
Madd Gear Pro - around 80$ - Whole scooter (Very strong, wont brake)

Custom parts-
Metal core wheels- depends if u want good ones, good ones = 55$ EACH/ok ones=35$ EACH
Double Clamp- Just a double defiant one is 15$, Quad is 30$
Grip- Grips are usually 20$
Grip tape- (Put on ur deck) around $5
Bars- Main thing u want- T bars are a T, around 80 or so Others are good but u dont want to pay more than 150$ for a reallly good onee..
all the rest, brake, headset, forks are good too Winky Winky all parts range from prices depending on the brand, a good place to check out is scooterhut.com.au (for prices) or SkaterHQ

I had a scooter like you want, it was a Razor, best brand, I never had any problem with it

and yeah I think it's better than a skate or rollerblades
