I don't like the idea of an army, no disrespect to you or any other soldiers who are serving or have served, but the basis of an army is to provide its country with protection, right? Now, if some people weren't so screwed in the head, we wouldn't need that protection. The whole idea of possession is what makes it even more tempting. I come from a place with a rich history of violence and civil wars, so I'm pretty much fed up with it.

A great way of thinking in my opinion, it's kind of sad that humanity will never reach that level of unity and peacefulness. I believe an "Utopia" won't be achieved until we can all come together and acquire an "Earth Vs Universe" type of thinking.

Daddy's home.
Nice man, congrats. Will be tough though through your training. I'm hoping to join the RAF Regiment hopefully next year. I'm trying to build on my fitness so training won't be as tough, if you know what I mean.

Enlisting during times of conflict takes some courage.

There have always been and will always be solders.
Until an alien invasion and we all have a reason to fight together, it takes some guts to become a solder, when there is real risk of battle.

Hurah!
basically i came first for the physical tests in my area but i only weight 8 stone so thats kinda why, i scored the highest barb score of 71 and performed a 8:47 run time with 11 heives and 66 situps so i think im just about ready just need to look the part now, i am joining as a weapons tech in the RLC (Royal Logistics Core) and will be attending college in september in harrogate to do my basic training and i cannot wait to get there, i am only 16 and will miss my beloved ps3 more than my gf (but we wont tell her that) but i currently have a job so im torn between attending full time college and earning myself some money before i join, i'm on about £200 a week and for a 16 year old in the UK that is really good, i wish all of you the best of luck and i apologies for my disgusting grammar but its nearly 3 oclock in the morning and im tired---which is a good sign cuz some may know i suffer from sleep problems as i never stop complaining about them :L
