Anon members are downloading secret files from NATO, lmfao i'm pretty sure NATO have a log on who downloads there stuff, where they live, their families etc. They could get their background information up within a second, if not they would turn the webcam on and watch who is on the other side of the screen and do a photographic identification process.

Those who got arrested could have been normal people like you and me who wanted to look like hackers and make a stand, the only problem is, they just followed a tut on the internet, they didn't protect their ip from being traced, they didn't hide it to avoid logging of the ip.

I think you guys underestimate the capability of the feds. They have far more advanced software than we will ever have, and they'll only keep on updating it. And they'll have smarter nerds that do this for an actual living, and get paid and go home to probably wife and kids because they're not virgins. The people the feds (as in world wide police cyber units/fbi etc) employ will be some of the smartest computer people in the world that since the age of like 3 they have been doing the shit you are doing now and think is cool. Yeah, but don't forget though, keylogging, DDoS, RATS, SQL are all uber 1337 haxing forms that nobody can beat. Especially if they hide behind a proxy/VPN. it was hoaxed /facepalm. They filmed the moon landing before going in to space, so if anything did go wrong they could still show a moon landing to the public.

Yea but do remember there have been lots of Anon members arrested, even though they used proxies and VPNs. I'm sure the government have a software that can access administrator powers on any website, thus enabling them to look up i.p. addresses (from here on i am now theorizing) then maybe automatically entering all those i.p addresses into a database and searching them for any unusual activity. (i.e. they can access these proxy sites and log the i.ps)
