Who wants to take a poll to benefit the knowledge of NGU members? =D =D

I made this at 3am so I wasn't fully aware of what I was doing. I have only edited a poll on the administrative side of things so until I find out how to edit a poll on the members side of things, the "brown" category stays the same :megusta:

This poll is pointless, apparently there are no black people in my country because I don't live in America. Remember "African-American" may as well say "Niggér" in any country outside USA because it's nothing but political correction and pandering. It's insulting, inaccurate and implies that being "black" is intrinsically offensive and therefor you need to give it a more obtuse name so as not to offend the overly emotional black people.
Here's a question, Sir Trevor McDonald. A black man in England who was originally from Trinidad. He's as black as they come. So is he "African-American", because you know what, some stupid American journalists called him that once. He's got no family from Africa at all, and he's never been to America outside of reporting for his job. This highlights just how stupid that phrase is.
In future if you're going to make a poll, make one that isn't so incredibly badly worded. I'm not even going to touch on "brown" as an option. Really the options should have been.

White Balkan,
Black African,
Black Caribbean,
Hispanic,
Far Asian,
Middle Eastern,
Indian,
Native American,
Australiasian Aborigine,
Other/Mixed Race.
I think those 11 adequately cover it. Think before you post in future.

Hispanic literally means "people of spanish origin", as all modern Latino people in the Americas are decendents of the original Spanish and Portugese colonies I think it's fair to say Hispanic covers Spanish, Portugese, Mexican, Brazillian, Chillian and pretty much everyone else who is of that heritage. Sure we could divide further but then you start getting far too may categories for it to really be useful as an "at a glance" statistic.

While true, you must also remember that mexicans have mixed blood of Spanish and native Mexicans. Personally, I would rather have a more informative poll than this poll. This is most likely then worst poll I have ever seen. By the way, I'm going to keep my posts short as I'm on my iPad and I fail at using the tou keyboard.
