im, planning to get my left ear pierced tomorrow and im pretty sure my parents will freak out when i get home, im not sure what they would do but if they let me keep it, thats all cool, but i was wondering, if they make me take it out and it closes up, does it leave like a little dot in your lobe where the pierce used to be ? or does it close and and your lobe looks as good as new? because if it leaves like a little scar i may not get it :\ HELP!

im telling you from experience ( i am not a dermatologist) . Get your ear pierced in a good , reliable place . Not some little booth at the mall or by your friends. Now i had my left ear pierced , you have to keep the earring in for a whole 2 weeks for it to stick . However i do want to remind you this , a earring can mess up your chances for many good jobs , it also makes you look like a troublemaker to the cops ( i was stopped twice for profiling) . Also talk to your parents it never hurts , if they say no wait until your old enough . Also its a object breaking into your skin so i mean it has to leave something . Personally my hole closed it has a little line mark ( not a scar) . I hope you appreciate my advice.

I have my eyebrow, left ear, right ear, and a few upper cartilage piercings... I could take all of them out and they would heal and leave no mark whatsoever; and I've had some for like 3 years. So do not worry if you're forced to take it out... But if I was you, I would keep it in regardless.

thanks man, and im going to take it out and let it close up in about 2/3 years, I just want the experience if you know what I mean

I dont think thats a good idea. But you can ask the person who is gonna pierce you. :y:

You should be okay, I never took my earring out, when it was originally was pierced, but I left it on for about 4 weeks and then it was okay to remove, the person who pierced it for me said not to remove it due to possibility of infection or something. But if you do take it out then I suggest putting some cream or petroleum jelly on it.

If you don't keep it clean then when you take it out you will get a small little bump on the part where it was pierced
