(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Do you think black history month is racist? I do because having a month celebrating people's accomplishments SOLELY ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR SKIN COLOR is as racist as it gets.

Watch this video before you post, it may get you thinking;

The irony of it all is that whites get the most shit for slavery, when every other race at a certain point in time used another race for slavery.

Even free blacks had black slaves during the Civil War. But let's ignore that, right?

Oh, and I don't care if anyone gets offended if I ever use the term "negro", it's a historically legitimate term, and should definitely be allowed use.

Same if you want to call me "whitey". You think I care?

You think it's a racial slur that will hurt my feelings, I think it's amusing.

Louis C.K. did a comedy bit about that, actually. :p

I think humans have too much time on their hands when they can come up with this crap. Instead of bettering the world they are more concerned with some P.C. bullshit. A persons skin color has no bearing on what they can do, it is their ambition.
Stupidity knows no color.

I don't care what the accomplishments of white men were, the end doesn't justify the means in this case. Is it right to forget about all the suffering white men caused just because those white men were the same ones who formed our government? We enslaved Native Americans, forced them out of their homes, led them halfway across the country and told them they could have a few chunks of land, and then apologized by giving them casinos? White men fooled the Aztecs into thinking white men were Gods, stole from them, extorted them, and then killed them. We forcibly pulled Africans from their homes, transported them in terrible conditions, sold them, beat them, disgraced them, and then, after all that, we accepted them in our society, as long as they weren't part of "our" society. We forced them to live in our land and then treated them like shit for years. We've grown to treat them as equals in most parts of America, but there will never be full acceptance, especially in rural areas.

We've treated every other race that we've encountered like shit because white men, history has shown, tend to be pompous assholes. We have advanced our civilization, but in the process wiped out some civilizations and set a few on the brink of extinction. Saying we were in the right because of what we have today is like saying that it's fine to kill innocent men as long as you profit from it.

I want to make it clear that I'm not saying that all white men (I am one of them) are bad people, but it can't be denied that our past actions were heinous and cruel.

Why should we be singled out when every other race has done absolutely terrible things to us and each other as well?

Why should we get the backlash for what our ancestors have done, when we had absolutely nothing to do with it, and have no motivation to have anything to do with it now? And this goes for ALL races.

Racism, like sexism, is a huge double standard.

"I'm not racist, but I despise my own race for what it has done."

And that's only three of the hundreds of thousands of things people have done because of a false sense of racial (as well as religious) superiority. It's not just whites.
