Long boarders are the posers that can't do tricks on a regular skateboard, so they just ride around on a long board

Uh, thats not true at all. I can tre flip with ease, but i choose to ride a longboard.

I wanna see you try any of this.

once you get the kickflip and shuvetes the other tricks start to come naturally. i recommend learning to kickflip by holding on to a fence and trying that way you can maintain your balance...that is if you are still interested in skating

Can you slide? If so, what kind of wheels would you recommend?

if you wanna slide get harder wheels rather than soft, softer wheels give grip, hard wheels give slide. some 86 durometer wheels should give good slide, and 83 will give a decent balance between slide and grip.

i longboard and skate. longboarding is a lot more fun than you think and is very different from skateboarding. the rush you get from speeding down hills on a longboard is something you will never feel on a skateboard, and if you do try to on a skateboard your gona eat shit. its about having fun not trying to look cool. but dont get me wrong i love skating more than i like longboarding
