It started as tropical storm rapidly turn to categories 2 hurricane it reported to be a catgories 5 when hit land fall with maximum everything

What province are you in?

Where I live in Nova Scotia there was only insane rain for a little while. On and off. Oh, and crazy wind for a while, but not strong enough to knock trees down.

Ahh, okay. We've had hurricanes pass through here, but nothing horrible. Just trees knocked down here and there. Irene didn't hit us much.. but I saw on the news that New Brunswick was gettin' it hard. (That just sounded sexual...)

It must suck living on a Caribbean island.
It seems like every hurricane has to hit one of them to get to the US but no one ever talks about the damage that occurs there.
All the hotels are beach front on them, do they build news ones every year?

I guess that's the price of living on a tropical island.
