In the past year i read the Eragon series, Percy Jackson series, and The Giver wasn't a bad book.

I think a book needs to have action, a good plot line and something to make the reader turn the page to be a good book.

I've read the following books and have enjoyed them:
Assassin's creed book series.
Resistance book series.
Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Eragon is very good.
