Haha, same with in America. We have hundreds of different accidents going across the nation that has been mixed with other accents to produce new accents.
It's hard to tell with America, your accents are very similar with exceptions to the southern and new york accents. English regional accents are VERY different and considering the size of England it's quite amazing. If you were interested you should take a look at Geordie, Scouser, Brummie, Queens English, Cockney, yorkshire accents and your mind will be blown lol.
