I am pretty sure you can as long as you have some cash on the card. I tried activating my Paypal account with a prepaid card but I had no money on the card therefor it did not let me activate it. I now use a credit card which is fine because it never gets charged unless I use more money than I have in my Paypal balance. I recommend using a credit card, but Im pretty sure you will be able to use a prepaid Visa card. Hope I helped

I don't have the ability to get an actual credit card since I am only 17 and am under the guidance of my parents. When I turn 18, I may consider it if I have a job.

Good question. I am trying to do the other way, i.e. use paypal to fund the purchase of a prepaid visa card. Anyone knows if that's possible?
