Most towers that exceed 50 floors have 5-15 central support pillars in the middle. The crash set shit on fire causing those pillars to melt and slowly bend inward since they are connetected to the center.

The vertical beams that support the floors bended down, causing the corner support beams to bend the entire building inward. It would implode. I'm not flaming or anything but I do know a bit about demolition and architecture.

I hear a lot about people saying the building was rigged with explosives and that it in fact was an inside job, but does that honestly even matter now? I'm disgusted at the certain group of people who know the truth behind the attack; whomever they may be. I mean no disrespect to anyone that was personally effected by this but this sort of thing is a daily act in many countries. I don't mean planes flying into buildings; rather, some sort of pointless killing. Suicide bombers in bus's to busy city streets were a common threat in Sri Lanka. I'm sure the middle eastern countries get their shameful share as well. Those places don't get much attention due to their status, whereas New York is pretty high up there. Anyways, it happens more commonly than many think and it's upsetting because of needless it is.

I think that the discussion in here about who did it and why is pathetic. This thread was for remembering those that are dying and have died because of it, not for discussing and hating on each other for the opinions. Someone created a thread in the debate section You must login or register to view this content., why not take it there of who did it and why. And frankly I'm disgusted at the mods and Admin for letting this continue in a memorial thread.

5 men with box cutters on a plane full of civilians is intimidating. All they had to do was slit the pilot's throat and then everyone would crash. For all they knew, the people were just being kidnapped.

The planes hit between the middle and the top. The shockwaves, explosions, and fire would topple the building. Remember, this is office space. Everything is combustible. Fire melts iron, therefore the structural integrity of the building is compromised as soon as the support beams start to melt.
