We all remember what happened that day, September 11th, 2001. On that morning, 19 terrorists from the Islamist militant group Al-Qaeda hijacked four passenger jets. The hijackers intentionally crashed two planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City; both towers collapsed within two hours. Hijackers crashed Americans Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth jet, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after passengers attempted to take control before it could reach the hijacker's intended target in Washington, D.C. Nearly 3,000 died in the attacks. Just this past summer the SEALS team tracked down Osama Bin Laden and killed him, they dumped his body in the Sea.

I remember that day. I was 7, i didn't go to school that day because i had a dentist appointment. There was an old tv in the waiting room and it was showing Cartoon Network until someone change the channel to NY1. I saw everything from the first plane, second plane, people jumping from the 80+ floors, the towers collapsing and everyone running away from it. There was a loud roar when the towers fell that everyone in the city felt it. You can hear the emotion from reporters, fire fighters, cops, strangers & even camra men. Everyone was shocked from what they were seeing.
After leaving the dentist, everyone in the streets here in Queens were together listening to radios with facial expressions like oh my god & crying. There was a lot of talks & discussion of this attack for the next couple of days until the Mets came back NYC to play baseball. That game was one of the most emotional games i've ever seen. From the anthem to the baseball caps with FDNY & NYPD logo on it to the 9th inning miracle to win the game by my favorite baseball player Mike Piazza. Everyone in the stadium was screaming with joy when it happened
In the end of all of this, I give prayers & blessings to all the family members and friends that lost their loved ones that day.
To all the brave fire fighters, cops & victims that lost their lives R.I.P.
GOD BLESS AMERICA & I LOVE NY!

**** off with al this 9/11 bullshit, 3000 faggot ass americans died and every year its the same bullshit , millions of people die every year but we dont remember them, also if youre gonna tell the story tell it right, 9 out of those 20 so called terrorists came out within the first week and sayd wtf how could i have been on those ****in planes if im ****ing alive right now, also who really believes osamas dead lol no pictures of him being dead even though theres pictures of everything else in that house, other cia personell and al quiada personel sayd osama died in 06 , osama was visitied after 9/11 at least one time that has been officiallly recorded by the cia how come the didnt kill him then...

I personally don't care for the event of 9/11, but my heart goes out to the people who lost loved-ones. I know what it feels like to feel like to have a family member intentionally murdered.
But, why is 9/11 remembered so much globally? There was other bombings in other countries that aren't recognised as globally as 9/11. I bet 70% of Americans have never heard of the Omagh Bombing or 7/7. They we're bombings where innocents were killed too. My point is, America blows everything way out of porportion, if 9/11 happened in a country as forgotten as Figi would it be as globally rembered as much as 9/11? I doubt it a lot.
