the posts that have responded to this thread makes me want to delete my account and never come on NGU again. You can't compare tragedies.
Your obviously not getting the point of the comparisons, so lets work it out for you slow people
3000 Died in 9/11, everyone goes beserk and starts hating on a culture and country that really did nothing wrong
Hundreds of thousands died in Rawanda, "Waitwut? People died there...?"Is the generic response
The only reason 9/11 is made out to be soooooo evil is because it happened in the country that controls the media for the Western hemisphere. If 9/11 had happened in UK or Canada, we wouldnt even have these threads
The comparison is just to show how people are making this soooo much worse then it has to be.
The following 4 users say thank you to Jeff for this useful post:
People may not be American, But that day touched the world for the better.
Pay your respects to those who died so that we didn't have to suffer the same, imagine if the US and Europe never went to war that day.. the sheer amount of numbers in al-Qaeda could have quite easily caused more devastation then you could imagine, I mean look almost 3,000 killed at the hands of what 10+ terrorist deaths?
That's someone's family member or friend in there, If it was your own i'm sure you wouldn't want to forget them. How people can even begin to flame on the matter is beyond me.

I cant respect anyone that supports a government that invades countries that had nothing to do with terrorism, but continues to defend themselves saying there "weapons of mass destruction"

How could people who died in the twin towers possibly support the Iraq war when they died before it even happened? Besides alot of people were against it, to say everyone did support would be generalising a nation
