First off, you'll have to pick which forum software to use. You can use an online forum maker, or one that you have to upload via ftp. If you want to use free software that you can upload, try out mybb. Vbulletin is good as well but it costs about $300 for a license. You could use nulled vbulletin, but it will get taken down if it's you're not using offshore hosting.

Second of all, you may want to get modifications if you're going to use software. These make the forum way better. I'd also look for good styles/ themes for your forum to make it look attractive.

Also if you're going to use a forum software, DO NOT USE PBPBB3 as it can be hacked very easily Happy

Here is a video of how to install mybb and use 000webhost. Mybb is one of the best free forum software's, and i use 000webhost as well.
Bear in mind that this will be a free domain unless you purchase one yourself(e.g. "www.Yoursite.web44.net", instead of "www.Yoursite.com"

Once you get your forum set up, you will probably want some plugins. You can get some from You must login or register to view this content..

Plugins are used to add new features to your forum(such as a shoutbox), or enhance existing ones.

It doesn't take any time at all to get Mybb uploaded. How advanced do you want your forum to be? If you are alright with the basics, there isn't really too much you would have to do aside from making actual forums for people to post in.

Well, if you want a quick and easy free sub-domain forums to start you off, then just go to Createmybb3.com and download it. It's quick, easy, and 100% free. If you would like any help of any kind, then just PM me the URL of your site and then I can help you get it set up and all for you.
