As an atheist, I think we are here just to be what we are, live as we want, and be who we choose to be. And when we die, we will live on through the memories of loved ones and friends.
Purpose of Life is to exist if you want to look at it from a point of view why there is matter.
We exist to keep things stable within the world
Purpose of life we have created is to survive and keep are gene pool going.
Of course on top of these two ideas we have created ideas why we are here by the image of a god etc.
I don't believe there to be one purpose for all, I feel one creates their own purpose in life.
My purpose in life is unknown as of yet, but I'm sure the more I live I will find something to devote the rest of my time to and that will be my purpose. I could already have a purpose that I'm unclear of, who knows.
Could you religious people please elaborate to how "serving God" is a purpose, how do you exactly serve him?
There is no purpose to life. We're not here to support and cherish a deity. We're not here for anything, really.
Just live your life and make the most of it, don't think about there being a reason for your existence, just think about the fact that you're living.
If everybody thought we were here to serve an imaginary entity, the human race would have ceased to exist a long damn time ago.
Hooray for rational people!
